Calculadora de Fracciones is an educational site. This page explains where each text comes from, who is responsible for it and what happens when an error is found.
Who is responsible
The editorial lead and owner of the site is Dr. Elena Vargas Moreno, a mathematics teacher in Valencia. She sets the standards for accuracy, clarity and curriculum fit in the explanations. Her profile is on the about page.
How the content is made
Calculations are checked with the site’s exact engine, and the editorial lead sets the standards.
Every numeric example can be repeated in the calculator. The calculation methodology describes the rules the engine follows: exact fractions, input limits and decimal rounding.
What is reviewed and when
A page shows a review line, with the reviewer’s name and the date, only when a dated review record exists for that version of the text. If the text changes afterwards, the line is removed until there is a new review. Pages without that line have no recorded review.
Versions in other languages
The original is written in Spanish. Versions in other languages are adapted from it. If a phrase could read better, tell us on the corrections page.
Corrections
An error in a figure, formula, rule or source is fixed on the affected page and noted in the corrections log. To report one, write to editorial@calculadorafracciones.com.
If anything on the site is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard or another assistive tool, see the accessibility statement.
Sources
Guides and tools link their sources at the end. They draw mainly on official curriculum documents (such as the US Common Core standards), open educational materials such as OpenStax (in English), and mathematical reference works. Curricula are cited as guidance: always compare with your own textbook and school program.
