Calculadora de Fracciones does not use cookies. For some features it stores small pieces of data in your browser, without sending them anywhere, and this page lists them. We do not use advertising or personalization cookies.
Storage in your browser
| Name | Where | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
calculadora-fracciones-history-v1 |
Local storage | History of calculated problems, only if you turn on the history | Until you press “Clear history” or delete the site’s data |
ws-mis-fichas-v1 |
Local storage | “My worksheets”: the last 10 worksheets you download (title, path and time) | Until you delete the site’s data |
fx-ws-mode |
Local storage | Print mode chosen in the worksheet generator | Until you delete the site’s data |
fx-ws-paper |
Local storage | Paper size chosen in the worksheet generator | Until you delete the site’s data |
plausible_ignore |
Local storage | Remembers that you chose not to be measured (stops Plausible and Google Analytics) | Until you press “Count my visits again” or delete the site’s data |
calculadora-fracciones-pending-update |
Session storage | Keeps the values you typed while an app update is applied | Deleted when restored or when you close the tab |
All of them are technical or preference items: without them the site works the same, it just does not remember your choices.
Files for offline use
If the browser supports installable web apps, the service worker stores in its cache the home page, the icons and the code files needed to open the calculator offline. The browser controls that cache, and you can remove it from its settings.
Calculator history
By default, the history keeps up to 10 successfully calculated problems in the page’s memory and loses them when you close it. In configurations that allow saving it, the option is off at the start. If you turn it on, the calculator reads and validates the entries already stored in this browser and only adds the problems you calculate from then on. What is stored includes the mode, the operation and the values entered, not the answers or the steps. If you turn the option off, the calculator stops reading and saving the history, and entries already stored stay until you press “Clear history” or delete the site’s data. If local storage is not available, the calculator keeps working and holds the history in memory only while the page is open.
Visit measurement
Visit measurement uses Plausible and Google Analytics 4, and neither uses cookies. Google Analytics runs with Google’s consent mode set to “denied”, so it does not create the _ga cookies or store anything on your device. The only flag stored is plausible_ignore, if you decide not to be measured, and it stops both kinds of measurement. You can choose that with “Don’t count my visits” at the foot of every page, or with your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. More in privacy.
Share links
Links for sharing a problem or a worksheet carry the numbers and options in the URL fragment (after the # sign). The fragment is not sent to the server or to visit measurement.
